TRAVELLING TO THE PENDER ISLANDS

The Pender Islands are readily accessible by regularly scheduled government ferries sailing from Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Harbour Air and Sea Air offer regularly scheduled flights from Downtown Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport as well as charter flights.

BC FerriesBC Ferries
Through fares are offered to the Penders at no extra charge. BC Ferries leaves from Tsawwassen ferry terminal outside of Vancouver (1/2 hour from downtown Vancouver) to Victoria's ferry terminal at Swartz Bay (1/2 hour from downtown Victoria). This ferry carries both vehicles and passengers. In the summer, ferries depart from both ferry terminals every hour, on the hour, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The rest of the year they depart every two hours. The ferry trip takes 90 minutes.

Washington State FerryWashington State Ferries
Washington State Ferries travels from Anacortes, Washington to Sidney Ferry terminal outside of Sidney (1/2 hour from downtown Victoria). Anacortes is 82 miles northwest of Seattle, and the terminal is 4 miles west of Anacortes. Exit 230 off Interstate 5. This ferry carries both vehicles and passengers, once daily.

The Coho Ferry departs from Port Angeles, Washington to the downtown ferry terminal in Victoria. It is a vehicle and passenger ferry that departs twice daily. The ferry trip takes 90 minutes.

Victoria Express Passenger ServiceVictoria Express Passenger Service
The Victoria Express is a passenger only ferry that travels from Port Angeles to downtown Victoria. The trip takes only one hour and the ferry leaves twice daily.

Victoria ClipperVictoria Clipper
The Victoria Clipper, a high speed catamaran, offers passenger service only from Seattle's Pier 69 to the Inner Harbour in downtown Victoria.
